Getting Help
While the textbook and website will provide supplements to the notes you take in class, the instructor and teaching assistant will also available for office hours several times during the week, or by appointment. Some in-class activities will also offer opportunities for you to ask questions about the material. Review/help sessions will be scheduled before the exams and as otherwise needed.

Scholastic Integrity
The University of Texas and the College of Natural both Sciences have strong codes of ethics regarding scholastic honesty. You are responsible for knowing these standards for academic work at UT. See

http://deanofstudents.utexas.edu/sjs/academicintegrity.html

For example, plagiarism (representing as your own work any material taken from someone else) and cheating during exams will not be tolerated. Significant offenses will result in an "F" in the course; the instructor will be the sole judge of "significant."

Students with Disabilities
Upon request, the University of Texas at Austin provides appropriate academic adjustments for qualified students with disabilities. Contact the Office of the Dean of Students at 471-6259, or (TTY) 471-4641.
