Undergraduate Advising

All Astronomy students must receive advising prior to registration. Advising is a four step process:
  1. Fill out the College Advising Worksheet.
    Requires UT EID.

  2. Receive advising at the Math, Physics and Astronomy Advising Center -- RLM 4.101, 471-0900.

  3. Receive advising from the Astronomy Department Undergraduate Advisor:
    Dr. Shardha Jogee
    Undergraduate Advisor for Astronomy
    Dean's Scholars Advisor for Astronomy

    OFFICE HOURS
Please see Dr. Jogee's office hours here:
    Faculty Office Hours

If you have an unavoidable conflict at these times, please email (sj@astro.as.utexas.edu) to set up an appointment.

  4. Go to Char Burke in 15.202AA, to have your advising bar cleared and if Dr. Jogee is not available.
