Proceedings - Astronomical Society of the Pacific Conference Series


The Astronomy Program at the University of Texas is hosting the first biennial symposium on the topic of New Horizons in Astronomy. This symposium brings excellent young researchers working on frontier topics in astronomy and astrophysics together to exchange research ideas, experiences, and visions for the future. The symposium will focus on invited review talks given by postdoctoral fellows, followed by open panel discussions, and a limited number of poster papers from postdocs and graduate students.


Venue and Accommodations
The symposium will be held at the Avaya Auditorium in the Applied Computational Engineering & Sciences Building (ACES), Room 2.302, at the University of Texas Campus in Austin, Texas. Please see Austin Area for additional information on accommodations and travel.


Instructions for Presentation of Papers


Registration
Interested astronomers, researchers and staff are invited to register here. Registration is free but required. The banquet fee is $65. Registration must be received by September 12.


Deadlines
Poster abstracts and registration must be received by September 12.
