Title: Low-Metallicity Star Formation: the Pop III-II Transition

Author(s): Kazu Omukai

Abstract: I study the evolution of low-metallicity star-forming clouds up to the formation of protostars by way of radiation hydrodynamics with spherical symmetry. From the obtained thermal evolution, I then discuss their fragmentation mass scales. From the structure of the envelope at the time of protostar formation, I derive the protostellar accretion rate and calculate the evolution of protostars in the main accretion phase. Finally, I discuss the stellar feedback and evaluate the upper limit on the stellar mass by the stellar feedback.
