Title: Studying the First Galaxies with the James Webb Space Telescope

Author(s): Massimo Stiavelli

Abstract: I plan to review the expected contribution of the James Webb Space Telescope to the study of the first galaxies. I will briefly review recent theoretical results to predict the properties of the first galaxies and use them to assess their observability. I will also briefly discuss the observability with JWST of Pair Instability supernovae from Population III stars.
