Meeting Room
Internet Access
Our meeting room, ACE(S) 2.402,
will have AC power (110V, 60Hz, US style grounded socket)
and RJ45 ethernet port at every seat. To use the hard-wired
ethernet, simply bring your own short (~1 meter) ethernet
cable, and you are all set.
To use the U.T. guest wireless network (https://guest.utexas.edu), you
must use a guest login name and password. The guest wireless
network is available throughout the entire UT campus.
We will arrange guest UT wireless accounts for all non-UT people
attending, and will pass these out at the Workshop.
Video Conferencing
ACE(S) 2.402, the meeting room,
is set up for videoconferencing. We are happy to provide
a video feed for those who are unable to travel to the meeting.
The system can handle up to three separate remote sites.
Since we must pay a fee for videoconferencing and arrange for
this capability in advance, we ask those who want to participate
remotely via videoconference to contact Elizabeth Donihoo
(elizabet@astro.as.utexas.edu) well in advance of the Workshop
to make proper arrangements.
If remote participants prefer a teleconference over a videoconference
we can also support that. Once again, please contact Elizabeth Donihoo
(elizabet@astro.as.utexas.edu) well in advance of the Workshop
to make the arrangements.
