Career Resources

How to Succeed in Graduate School
A document called "How to Succeed in Graduate School," written by
Marie desJardins, has become an urban legend. Here is her current site
for distributing it in pdf or LaTeX form, and some other suggestions of
where to look for advice.

Career Resources - American Astronomical Society
The American Astronomical Society's website offers a lot of concrete
information on job openings, and also links to various articles under
"Career Resources"
and also "Articles of Interest" (though in my opinion, this site is not
as useful as it used to be).

ScienceCareers.org
A little browsing will also lead you to general sites such as
SCIENCE's NextWave, which has career info and other stuff, at "Career
Advice."

PhDs.org Science, Math, and Engineering Career Resources
Click on some of their links for specific topics. You'll find some good
advice, and also a few people flaming about their negative experiences
(for example, under "Grad School Survival").
