Working Notes (Spatial light distribution)

I am tucking a lot of nitty gritty notes away here that concern fiber mapping. The early work concerned VIRUS data.

Usage: vir_view 102 01 074 f
arg1 - observation number
arg2 - exposure number
arg3 - IFUSLOT (075)
arg4 - treatment grade (r=raw, f=flip, p=process)
NOTE: You can build a Base.Path file!

Some basics. 
* Each image (1x1 binned) has size:  1064 1032 
* Each frame has a bias region around:  [1038:1062,1:1032] 
* The "very approximate" bias level is 1000 adu 
* width of a fiber in the Y dimenion is about 7 pixels
* width of clear are between fibers 203 pixels 

Using the new vir_view code ("p" = processed option) I make images
for each IFU in the NGC5204 set and summarize the appearance. 

074 2 bright stars in LL 
075 bright star in RU, 2 faint stars in LU 
084 multiple bright stars in LL, good star in LU 
085 multiple bright stars in LU 
094 bright star at bottom of RU 
095 multiple bright stars in RL 
103 very bright star in LL, stars in RL,RU
104 multiple bright stars in RL
105 only very faint stars (in any?)
