Department of Astronomy
University of Texas at Austin
I am currently teaching AST 351/392J, Astronomical Instrumentation.
I am an astronomical observer and
instrumentalist. I specialize in the development of ultraviolet,
optical, and near-infrared cameras and spectrographs and enabling
technologies for future instruments. I use multiwavelength observations
to address a number of research questions, with a particular interest
in the physics of accretion disks and outflows and the properties of
exoplanet systems in the ultraviolet.
