Research Overview:

I am an astronomical observer and instrumentalist. I specialize in the development of ultraviolet, optical, and near-infrared cameras and spectrographs and enabling technologies for future instruments. I use multiwavelength observations to address a number of research questions, with a particular interest in the energetic irradiation of exoplanets in low mass star systems and in the physics of accretion disks and outflows in X-ray binaries.
