Project description:
We have a Monte Carlo code to simulate the evolution
of angular momentum of pre-main-sequence stars that is
designed to test disk-braking models (i.e. the magnetic
interaction of stars with their protoplanetary disks).
We would like somebody to help us running a grid of models
to be compared to the observed distributions of rotation
periods of stars with and without protoplanetary disks (as
determined by observations from the Spitzer Space Telescope).
The results will be published as part II of the paper "Testing the Disk
Regulation Paradigm with Spitzer Observations. I. Rotation Periods
