PFIP: The Prime Focus Instrument Package concept, developed by F. Ray, G. Hill, J. Booth, and W. Gressler, incorporates a Low-Resolution Spectrograph, a Multi-Object Spectrograph Fiber Handler, and a science-grade imaging camera. The four-element Spherical Aberration Corrector (SAC) is mounted in the interior of the PFIP.
