Transportation
To get from the Austin airport to the hotel, a rental car is NOT
needed. You can take the #100 bus directly from the airport to the
hotel, for a cost of 75 cents. The bus will let you out at 15th Street
and Lavaca St., directly across from the hotel. The bus runs every
40 minutes, and you can catch it from the airport lower level (arrivals)
at the second curb, all the way to the right (past the taxi stand).
For the return trip, you can catch the bus at 15th street and Guadalupe,
on the west side of the hotel. The bus schedule is available at

Alternatively, you can take a taxi (~$25 + tip) or the Super Shuttle
(~$12 + tip) from the airport to the hotel.
We will arrange for a shuttle to transport you from the hotel to the
meeting facility on campus on January 16 and 17 and back to your hotel
(times TBD). If you prefer to walk, it is about 10 blocks between
the hotel and our meeting room. Parking on campus will cost you
$10/day in the nearest garage about two blocks away.
