Akila Jeeson-Daniel

University of Melbourne

(host: Emily McLinden) "Modeling the Lyman Alpha Emitter - Intergalactic Medium Connection at Different Redshifts"

Lyman Alpha Emitters are observed in large numbers before and after reionization. We explore the dominant factors which affect the Lyman Alpha Emitter observability such as galactic outflows, structure and neutral fraction of the intergalactic medium. Using Gadget-3 outputs and CRASH-alpha radiative transfer code, we simulate the observability of Lyman Alpha Emitters after passing through the circumgalactic and intergalactic medium at different redshifts.
