ASTRO 386c/Fall 2016: PROPERTIES AND EVOLUTION OF GALAXIES

Please plan a ~10-12 minute presentation on a research paper related to
the class topics. We will have a ~5-8 minutes discussion and Q&A after the
presentation.  The presentation can be a talk with slides (preferred) 
or a discussion using the online version  the paper.  At the  time you
sign up for a date, please send me 
i) Your name
ii) The title and url link for the paper, e.g.,

iii)  A pdf copy of the paper 
iv) Your preferred dates  (Dates will be assigned on a first come first serve basis)

I will evaluate whether it is appropriate for this class and if so,  include
it on the list below. To guide your choice of papers, use references
in class, the class "extra reading" list, a recent relevant astroph
paper or/and talk to me for suggestions.
