Brady (1987 - 1999)

We bought Brady as a puppy in 1987 and he passed away in the summer of 1999. Sadly, we have few digital images of him. He was smart and highly trainable and won several ribbons in obedience trials. He was also preternaturally AWARE.

Brady bonded strongly to Priscilla, traveled with her everywhere, and spent most days with her at her art studio. Dog people should have no difficulty interpreting Brady's emotion when this picture was taken. He had been dragged along on a two-week car trip as Priscilla made plein-air drawings in the four-corners area, and was no longer enjoying the trip.

Usually, though, Brady was sweet, gentle, happy, and devoted. Here is a drawing Priscilla made when Brady passed away. She renamed him Saint Brady.
