Hear and meet, from the University of Texas at Austin Astronomy Program: Dr. Shardha Jogee Assistant Professor Dr. Neal Evans Chair, Department of Astronomy Edward Randall, Jr. Centennial Professor They will discuss the current state of some of Astronomy's most exciting and pressing questions... “The Formation of Stars and Planets, the Evolution of Galaxies over Cosmic Times, and Dark Energy” Also, hear... Dr. Mary Ann Rankin Dean of the College of Natural Sciences Discuss Admissions and special study opportunities in the College of Natural Sciences and the Department of Astronomy at the University of Texas at Austin. This program is free to participants. Students must be sponsored by a teacher. Parents are encouraged to attend. Lunch will be served.
