EXAMS: | There will be one midterm exam during the semester and no final exam. Tentative Exam Date: March 12 |
HOMEWORK: | Problem sets will be assigned regularly and must be handed in. In addition, a student talk is to be presented and an accompanying set of lecture notes handed in at the time of the lecture, to be scheduled during the final weeks of class, on a topic selected in consultation with the professor. |
GRADING: | The course grade will be based on the average of three grades of equal weight: (1) Problem Sets; (2) Midterm Exam; (3) Student Talk and Lecture Notes. |
