Grades: There will be four tests. The lowest of the test scores or the term paper grade will be dropped. There will be absolutely no make-up tests, no matter how good your reason is for missing the test. Dropping the lowest score will cover the situation where a test is missed for a legitimate reason. Tests will be a combination of multiple choice, true-false, and essay questions. A term paper will be assigned later in the semester.

Cheating on exams or papers will be dealt with very harshly; don't do it!

Schedule: A rough schedule for the course will be passed out within the first couple weeks. In short, though, we will be reading and discussing the Evans' text roughly from start to finish.
