I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Texas at Austin, where I study a variety of astrophysical problems related to galaxy evolution.  My group mainly focuses on using observations from the Hubble Space Telescope to discover the most distant galaxies in the universe, and to trace how these galaxies evolve through time.  I am also involved in HETDEX, an experiment led by UT Austin to achieve the first detection of dark energy at high redshift.  For more details on my research, click on the research link to the right.
