Current Activites
My current research and teaching activities are described on other pages.
During the last few months, I have begun writing a nonmathematical book
on extragalactic astronomy for use in my course AST 309R "Galaxies,
Quasars, Cosmology".
Over the last several years, I have devoted some attention to the problem
of light pollution in Austin.
Hobby-wise, I play violin and enjoy nature walks and bicycling.
