The bash script, named het_acam, uses many different routines, but its purpose is simple: for an ACAM image with WCS in the header, make a picture that shows the ACAM field and the VIRUS IFU pattern overplotted on an image (a DSS image is the usual display image). As of Oct2015 this is still under heavy development, but some useful notes are kept here for now.
het_acam 20150915T095247.8_acm_sci_wcsA.fits 178 391 Usage: het_acam 20150905T094350.0_acm_sci_wcsA.fits 173.0 394.0 arg1 - name of WCS-calibrated ACAM image arg2 - Xpix of IHMP center in ACAM arg3 - Ypix of IHMP center in ACAM Note: X,Y= 173 394 ; later X,Y= 178 391 Early-on (pre-Oct2015) we used X,Y=173,394 for the IHMP center, then MS did some observations that improved that estimate, which is now: X,Y (IHMP center on ACAM) = 178 391
