"Explodasaurus" bone in South Dakota. It's probably a rib from a triceratops, but in very bad shape. I found it myself, though!
Eclipse 1999 as viewed from Saarbrucken, Germany. This is all I saw before a thunderstorm rolled in, blocking the views of the total eclipse.
Lightning from my balcony overlooking the Monterey Bay. Thunderstorms are rare here; this was a part of the show on September 8, 1999 - the previous thunderstorms in the area had been in 1977.
More lightning from the same storm. This was a spectacular cloud-to-cloud event!
