in astronomy. My research is concerned with observations of old,
metal-poor stars in
the Milky Way Galaxy; the chemical abundance patterns
in these stars inform our
understanding of the formation of our Galaxy,
stellar evolution, and the nucleosynthesis
of the atoms that constitute
ourselves and the Universe around us.
My wife, Renee, is
pursuing a Master of Divinity at
Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Born and raised in Georgetown, Indiana, with the initials "I.U." I was destined
to attend
Indiana University. I graduated from IU in May, 2005, with a double-B.S.
in astronomy
and physics and a minor in mathematics. Renee is a 2004 graduate of the
University of
Louisville with a B.A. in vocal music performance and a minor in religious
studies. We
were married in New Albany, Indiana, on June 04, 2005.
