Michael Gully-Santiago
Hi, my name is Michael Gully-Santiago and I am in my third year of graduate school at UT Austin. My research interests are summarized in the Research page, which highlights my work with Dan Jaffe and collaborators on understanding young brown dwarfs. I also work in the silicon diffractive optics group where I develop immersion grating technology. This work and my astronomical interests have led to exciting worldwide collaborations, including a NASA GSRP fellowship at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, CA, where I spend 20% of the year. Feel free to contact me.

The plot above is the temperature in my office over the last hour, as reported by my Arduino microcontroller, and some software Casey Deen and I wrote. Cool!
