Presentations

The presentations will be a collaborative effort. If groups are not setup by you, I will assign the members of the groups to have about 4 people each. The groups will present results during the semester about either particular assignments that I provide or something that they have chosen. The goal is to research some material and then teach it to the class. You will be graded on content, presentation and scientific importance. You can use all means for presentation, including video interviews, short mpegs movies, sketches, etc. Keep in mind that the idea is to teach material that we have not covered in class.

Examples include:
String Theory
Fate of the Universe
Alternative Theories of the Universe
Virtual Particles
Dark Matter Detection
LHC experiments
Gravitational Waves
Fermi Paradox
Neutrino astronomy

Here is a list of group members. I would like the first person listed in each group to send me an email so I know how to contact you. Try to find each other somehow (email should work fine) and if you have trouble ask me. The first person in each list will be the contact person (for me), so please contact that person.
