Program

We will enforce a generous discussion period for each talk, to allow instantaneous Q&A from the audience and from other teams. However, we encourage the audience to avoid extended “comments”, and to concentrate on questions and on engaging in dialogue with the speakers.

Finally, we also will have a signup board at the break for participants or audience members to suggest Hack Day ideas that could spin off from the splinter session, and then will allow a brief period at the end for people to ``pitch'' their proposed hacks to be pursued on Saturday. This aspect will lead to immediately useful products and will further enhance the impact of the splinter on the broader field.
