Electronic and Software:
The design of the header board and TEXES cables is complete. Dan needs to know when the detector will arrive. Wallace has shipped hardware. Everything should work except ethernet card. The software to be provided will include EPROMs with variety of clocking patterns. Wallace needs to communicate with Raytheon about detector clocking patterns.
Matt is compiling a list of minimum software required for winter observing run.

EPO:
We are recruiting new teachers. Mary Kay will make specific attempt to recruit from AISD.
We have gotten money (~$300) from NASA for 2 teachers. Haven't heard on one request.
Meeting dates for Fall are Sept 18, Oct 16, and Nov 20.

Optics:
CO2 laser tests of 36 inch grating inside TEXES going well. More tests coming.

Design is progressing slowly. John expects design could be done in 2 months. John wants to know the level of design required for FAA Critical Airworthiness Design Review. John is concerned that Jeff Cottrell (McDonald draftsman) may be leaving before design is entered into mechanical desktop.
