Course Outline

1. The Origin of the Universe and Galaxies
2. The Origin of Stars and Planets
3. The Origin of Life

There are no suitable textbooks which cover the topics for this course. The book by Zuckerman and Malkan has chapters which deal with a number of aspects, but they are of uneven quality. The book by Shapiro is out of print, but the Co-Op will get permission to make a copy. I will put the viewgraphs from my lectures on reserve for you to look at or copy.
