  • Homework Note Codes:

    Ref: there is no reference or the reference given is not adequate
    Exp: there is no explanation or the explanation is not adequate
    Spe: the spelling makes the answer difficult to read. Pay attention on future homework, otherwise points will be deducted
    Uni: there are unit errors when you calculated your answer
    Incom: the answer is not complete. It means you may have missed some sub-component in the problem
    Cal: you should give some formulas and calculations when solving the problem - show your work

  • First Exam Review
  • Get the two handouts for Exam #1 (Oct 17): Exam #1 Review and Exam #1 Questions. The review sheet is also posted on the web site.
  • A review for Exam #1 will be held in class on Tuesday, October 15.
  • Extra Help Sessions will be scheduled next week; times & locations will be announced Thursday, October 10
  • Homework #2 has been graded and can be picked up from the 13th floor homework boxes
  • Homework #3 will be returned to you by 5pm on Friday, October 11
